Nazgole Hashemi, Esq.

Nazgole started the firm with her sister fresh out of law school in 2013. She began her career focusing on business transactions and continues to regularly assist startups and entrepreneurs. Nazgole’s practice also includes civil litigation and appellate advocacy. She has served as lead counsel on multiple cases and has extensive experience in all phases of litigation, including jury trial and appeal. Her areas of practice include employment, personal injury, civil rights, business, commercial, and contract law, and she regularly provides pro bono services to the community.

Nazgole graduated with a full scholarship from Southwestern Law School, where she currently serves as an adjunct Associate Professor of Law for Securities Regulation, an upper division course. During law school, she served as a writer on the Moot Court Honors Program and also received various awards, including the Witkin Award for Academic Excellence in Legal Analysis, Writing, and Skills (Appellate Advocacy), Brief Finalist Writer Award, and Public Interest Grant. Prior to law school, Nazgole graduated from UC Berkeley, where she served as the co-founder and instructor of an Ethnic Studies course. She is fluent in Farsi and conversational French.

Tannaz H. Hashemi, Esq.

Tannaz, a co-founder of LegalAxxis, regularly assists clients with intellectual property matters, including trademark and copyright registration and protection. She also has extensive litigation experience and has served as lead counsel on various cases, including landlord/tenant, employment, and personal jury.  Tannaz is an avid fighter against discrimination and harassment, and has represented multiple clients in disputes involving the workplace, housing, and public accommodations. She has also secured multiple settlements for clients with toxic mold in their homes.

Tannaz graduated with a full scholarship from Southwestern Law School in 2013 and obtained her undergraduate degree in English Literature from UC Berkeley. She is an active CAALA member and also provides pro bono services to the community. Tannaz regularly represents caregivers in the foster care system through the Alliance for Children’s Rights and engages in other public interest work, which she finds to be extremely gratifying. She is fluent in Farsi.
